Akram is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and has three decades of diverse experience in the Food & Beverage industry worldwide.

He is the founder of Overseas Chem Group in addition to the IBC Group. He’s a board member, investor and mentor at Oasis 500 a premier seed fund manager and accelerator in the MENA region and a proud member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

He is also closely involved with the programs of the Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS).

Akram was awarded the prestigious Ernest and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award (Jordan) for his achievements.
